Shauni McClain is a character from the TV series Baywatch from the late 1980s to early 1990s. She was played by Erika Eleniak.
Shauni was a complete rookie when she started out as a lifeguard with Baywatch, being scared of people drowning and freezing up when people needed CPR. She was put under the wing of experienced lifeguard Jill Riley, Jill gave Shauni confidence in her abilities and helped her become a much better lifeguard. Soon, the two became best of friends. In her time at Baywatch she fell in love with and eventually married her long term colleague Eddie Kramer (Billy Warlock). They both left Baywatch to start a new life together in Australia at the start of season 3. Their on-screen relationship became real for a period of time.
Erika Eleniak appeared in 44 episodes of the first and second seasons and the first two episodes of the third season. Eleniak was the show's female mainstay (Leading Female) from 1989 until 1992.
